Mememhmmmn (My ears. My eyes. My hands. My Mouth. My nose). With Mark Titchner.
Mark Titchner, Make Your Mark + Hospital Rooms has collaborated with service users at Sussex NHS Partnership Trust to create his project Mememhmmmn (My ears. My eyes. My hands. My Mouth. My nose). Mark led a series of digital workshops that focused on the idea of self-portraiture and, in particular, how we experience the world through our senses.
In each session participants were asked to make drawings of their ears, eyes, hands, mouth and noses and, to complement this, a short piece of writing that related to what they have drawn. The artworks created during these sessions have then been collated by Mark to create a collective self-portrait in the form of a printed publication, which is shown above in digital format.
As part of the festival, Mark, Make For Tomorrow + Hospital Rooms held a session at on Wednesday 11th November will be uploaded to our You Tube channel shortly.
