Jade invites you to engage in a drawing practice, which can be done on any type of surface you prefer. You are encouraged to bring a surface and drawing materials into the workshop, but this could range from a physical surface like a canvas or a piece of paper with chalk or pencil, but also your lips or mind can become surfaces that can function as mediums to translate text into the imaginary or word-based drawing.
Although it sounds all rather conceptual, the beauty of this workshop is that you can draw on anything - a piece of paper yes, but also any other surface you can find or think of, including non-physical ones!! Sounds bizarre??.. Don't worry Jade will guide you through this fun and experimental workshop where you turn words into images. |
