Mememhmmmn Workshops 1 & 2
with Mark Titchner

Acclaimed artist and Turner Prize nominee Mark Titchner is inviting you to join him in making a brand new piece of artwork; a collective self-portrait!

With all the restrictions, distancing and separation that have become common experiences for all of us since this global pandemic, artist Mark is really interested in how we now connect with each other and the world through our five senses -
My ears. My eyes. My hands. My Mouth. My Nose, or as he likes to call it…

"Mememhmmmn"

Workshop 1 - Monday 19th Oct 11am - SIGN UP HERE
WORKSHOP 2 - Friday 23rd Oct 11am - sign up here

-You're invited to come along to two live workshop sessions where Mark will concentre on a few of the senses at a time. He will guide you to make some drawings of your ears, eyes, hands, mouth and nose, (either from looking in a mirror, looking at a picture of yourself, or from your imagination!), and also to add a few words to accompany your drawings.

You're then invited to share your ears, eyes, hands, mouth and nose drawings and words with us, and Mark will use them to create a giant collective self-portrait artwork as a publication and animation!

This artwork will not only reveal something of each person's self-portrait but will be a reflection of us altogether too!

Every person who takes part will each receive these limited edition artworks to keep!

So do sign up and become part of this exclusive artmaking experience and unique and fascinating artwork!

All you will need for each workshop are:
-   a piece of paper no bigger than A4
-   anything to draw with (pencil, pen, whatever you fancy!)
-   It would be helpful if you have a mirror (or the camera on your phone) to use to look at your ear, nose, mouth, eyes'
